Classic Showjumps Sponsors Oliver Townend

Top showjump and equipment manufacturer Classic Showjumps is pleased to announce its sponsorship of famous three day event rider Oliver Townend.

Following a meteoric rise to fame over the last couple of years, Oliver needs no introduction. 2009 saw him ride dashing grey Flint Curtis to the top spot at Badminton, followed with a win at Burghley on his second grey Carousel Quest. This amazing achievement means that Oliver has joined an elite group of riders to win Badminton and Burghley back to back, but this ambitious rider is not resting on his laurels as he is aiming for the coveted Rolex Grand Slam in 2010.

Classic Showjumps is delighted to be sponsoring Oliver and is happily supplying a variety of top quality jumps for his training purposes. Managing director Di Towers says: “I am so pleased we can support such an accomplished rider and Oliver really is at the top of his sport right now. We already sponsor the Champion’s Tour he is presenting with Geoff Billington, so full sponsorship is a natural next step.”
