Classic Showjumps Rewarded for Innovation

Top jump manufacturer Classic Showjumps is over the moon with the Highly Commended BETA Innovation Award, presented this year at BETA International.
This is the second year in a row that Classic Showjumps has received the award, showing that the company is maintaining its cutting edge reputation for design and innovation in the world of equestrian equipment.

This year’s award, judged by a line up of top equestrian professionals, was presented to Classic Showjumps for the fantastic range of flat-packed showjumps. One of those ‘why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?’ innovations, the ‘Jump in a Box’ provides the strength, durability and style of world-renowned Safety Systems jumps, with the manoeuvrability and space-saving opportunities of flat-pack.

Classic Showjumps has recently become the UK’s sole supplier of Safety Systems showjumps, which is great news in itself. However, not content with just stocking these best-selling items, managing director Graham Towers decided to improve the design still further. Responding to comments from retailers about how difficult it is to stock traditional showjumps, Graham set about devising a way to make the jumps more compact and easy to use, yet still maintaining the rigidity and size of standard jumps. The resulting ‘Jump in a Box’ is easy to handle and lift, simple to stock and child’s play to put together.

The BETA Innovation Award is an amazing recognition for the hard work of this British company. Graham Towers says: “It is absolutely fantastic to win this award for the second year in a row. We know that our flat pack showjumps are a great idea, but it feels brilliant that the judges at BETA International agree with us. There was a real gap in the market that we quickly recognised and as sole UK stockists of Safety Systems jumps we were able to include a really great product in a really great idea!”
